This is a very popular rosary in my shop. The show stealers are the Ave beads. They are 8mm by 7mm glass rosebud beads from Czechoslovakia. They are clear glass which has been frosted and then given a light AB coating. They have subtle shades of blue, pink and green which move across their surface in the light. The 10mm white quartz Pater beads compliment the rosebud beads very nicely. The center and the crucifix are both silver colored metal with a high polish shine. The crucifix is silver colored, but because of the highly polished surface it reflects the blue background in some of the photos thus making it look like the metal itself is blue. It isn't. This rosary would make a wonderful First Communion or Confirmation gift. It would also be great to keep for yourself!
