St James de Compostela Rosary

The Aves in this handsome rosary are 6mm Bordeaux colored Swarovski pearls. Swarovski pearls are among the best simulated pearls available. The center is a Swarovski crystal which has been covered with 4 layers of nacre (pearly coating). These simulated pearls have a beautiful glow and will last many years. Complimenting the Ave beads are 10mm black onyx beads. The crucifix is the cross of the shrine of Santiago de Compostela which is the shrine that was made famous by St James the great. The shell center is also associated with Santiago de Compostela. This shrine in Spain has long been the destination of many pilgrimages and the shell has become a symbol for the pilgrims who often came to the shrine to be baptized.  Please click here to learn more about this rosary and please visit my shop, HolyNameRosaries.com to see more of my unbreakable rosaries and chaplets.
