St Kateri Tekakwitha Rosary with Natural African Turquoise and Onyx

The Ave beads in this rosary are 8mm African turquoise beads. While African turquoise is the common name for this stone, it isn't actually turquoise. It is a form of jasper that is mined in Africa. Because its teal color and black matrix are so similar to turquoise it is often referred to as African turquoise and is used as a turquoise substitute. The Pater beads are 12mm black onyx with Tibetan Silver spacers at either end. The center, which honors St Kateri Tekakwitha, and the crucifix are both silver colored metal. This is a substantial rosary with a nice weight and feel to it.
