| St Patrick Chaplet at Laude Arts and Gifts |
The purpose of this chaplet is to pray that through the intercession of St. Patrick, God will strengthen one's faith and the faith of others.
On the medal pray "The Apostle's Creed": I believe in God the Father Almighty and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day He rose and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen
On each of the 12 green beads pray: All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Finish by praying the "Breastplate of St Patrick":
Christ as a light,
Illumine and guide me!
Christ as a shield, o'er shadow and cover me!
Christ be under me! Christ be over me!
Christ be beside me,
On the left hand and on the right!
Christ be before me, behind me, about me!
Christ this day be within and without me!
