Holy Face Rosary in Mahogany Obsidian and Onyx

The focal point of this rosary is the striking center with an image of the Holy Face of Christ taken from the Shroud of Turin. Accenting this center are the 8mm mahogany obsidian Ave beads. These beads are a rich, dark brown with black swirled into it. The 12mm black onyx beads are a nice compliment to both the Ave beads and the center. Three Hail Mary Chaplet with St Benedict Crucifix Onyx

This chaplet is comprised of three beautiful 8mm black onyx beads. Accenting these beads are silver colored bead caps. The Immaculate Heart medal has "Pray for us" on the reverse side. . The crucifix has a two sided St Benedict medal behind our Lord's head. Both the medal and the crucifix are silver colored metal. This chaplet is just under 6 1/2 inches long. It would make a wonderful gift or would be great to keep for yourself!

The Three Hail Marys devotion has enjoyed a long history in the church. The first known person to engage in this prayer is St. Anthony of Padua. He was followed by many saints and doctors of the church, among whom was St. Melchtilde. St Gertrude wrote of the Apparition that St. Melchtilde experienced with the Three Hail Marys devotion . Later, St Gertrude, herself experienced an apparition of the Blessed Virgin who promised a good death to anyone who practiced the devotion.

Padre Pio Rosary with Mahogany Obsidian and Onyx

The Ave beads in this handsome rosary are 7mm mahogany obsidian. These beads are a rich dark mahogany color with black inclusions. Contrasting these beads are the Pater beads comprised of a cluster of black onyx beads. All of these wire wrapped beads have a decorative swirl of silver plated wire going up the side.  The Avé beads in this rosary are striking 8mm Chinese Turquoise beads. These beads are natural turquoise from the Hubei mines in China. They have been stabilized to preserve the stone. The Pater beads are 10mm black onyx beads. They provide a beautiful contrast to the turquoise Ave beads. The center honors St Kateri and the back is inscribed with her name. Both the center and the crucifix are silver colored metal. This is a new center, but it has a vintage look to it. The show stealers in this unbreakable rosary are the large 20mm x 14mm lampwork Pater Noster beads. These beads have been worked by hand as well as by machine and no two beads are exactly alike. Brown seed beads provide a striking accent at either end of the Pater Nosters and in the connectors as well. Finishing the rosary off are the 6.5mm black onyx Avé beads.
